About Us

After 32 years in the ministry, I was burned out and needed to step away. My wife and I had no idea what was next, but we trusted God to direct our path. During the last few years of ministry, I began making candles as a way to relieve stress. Turning it into a business was more of a joke with friends than it was a real possibility. Finally, my wife and I sold our home and made our way to Florida where our kids lived. It was then that Hessence became a reality. Each step of the way, God has shown Himself faithful and we continue to trust Him as we move forward with Hessence.
